Hi Carrie, I can totally relate to your story. I have been very artistic and creative my whole life, but I went into a corporate career which was "anti-creative." Last Fall my bosses job was eliminated and then 3 months later my job was eliminated, but looking back I can see that there was a reason for it. Thank God! I really want to paint full time, but I'm still looking for work in a company (which I really do not want to do any longer!). The job situation is not good right now, so I'm not "catching any fish!" I am finally recovering from the toxic environmental stress and have been getting back to my old self, wanting to paint. Your story gave me encouragement to follow through with my dream. Thank you so much! God Bless, Susan

Broken by her death, and looking for anything that would help me put myself back together, I grabbed onto the idea of painting when it came to me out of the blue one day. Once I started, I recognized that I’d found what I was supposed to do with my life. Six months after my mother died, my boss, who was a dear friend, died. Four months later, the newspaper job I’d thought I would have forever was eliminated. A year later, I began painting full-time, starting with a cross-country trip to paint...
